Beverley is a registered psychologist with post graduate qualifications in psychology, counselling, secondary school teaching, couples and family counselling.
Beverley receives referrals for individuals, couples and families on a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, anger management, communication, relationships (couples, family, in-laws, workplace), premarital counselling, grief and loss issues, recovering from an affair, family issues, separation issues, remarriage and stepfamilies.
Beverley is an experienced fertility counsellor with a special interest and expertise in the impact of fertility issues, complex pregnancies, failed cycles, and pregnancy loss on an individual’s well being. In addition she has experience working with individuals, couples and families with decision making and implications of other paths to parenthood such as donor conception.
Beverley uses an integrative approach drawing on evidenced based therapeutic approaches such as emotionally focused therapy, client centred and systemic therapy where she can provide a compassionate space for individuals and couples to empower themselves in order to facilitate growth, healing and restoratiom of their emotional equilibrium.
